Each creation from The Ivory Crow and RememBearMe are made with care, respect, and appreciation for the memories you entrust to us. Thank you for supporting our small business and for allowing us to be part of your story!

By placing an order with The Ivory Crow and/or RememBearMe (part of The Ivory Crow), you agree to the following Terms & Conditions; please read them carefully before making a purchase. 

The Ivory Crow and RememBearMe reserve the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Please review them periodically, as the version in effect at the time of your purchase will apply to your order.

Please note: Throughout this document, RememBearMe is included when The Ivory Crow is mentioned.

1. Custom Orders & Personalisation:

Each keepsake item and portrait from The Ivory Crow and RememBearMe is handcrafted and made to order, which means that every piece is unique.

You, the customer, are responsible for ensuring that all personalisation details (such as names, dates, or messages) are correct at the time of ordering. 

If you have any special requests or preferences (for example, a specific fabric placement, colour scheme, or pose for a portrait), please include these details in your order notes using the contact form, or in a message when sending your items.

  • RememBearMe: A printable template for fabric/colour placement try-outs is available upon request

  • Pet Portraits: A clear, detailed photograph can be reproduced as is, but additional angles and a short backstory about your pet help capture their true character. 

The more detail you share, the closer we can come to your vision.

Final confirmation will be obtained before the project begins.

2. Clothing & Materials:

All clothing or fabric sent to RememBearMe for keepsake creations must be clean and in suitable condition.

While most fabrics will be interfaced, clothing that is excessively worn, stained, or damaged may not be usable. Unsuitable items will be returned at your expense.

If you’re unsure about an item’s suitability, please ask before sending it.

Please note: clothing should not be heavily treated with fabric softener, as this can interfere with the bonding of interfacing (the stabilising fabric ironed onto the back of your materials to help maintain shape during stuffing). 

3. Safety Notice:

IMPORTANT: 

Memory items created by RememBearMe are not toys.

They are decorative, commemorative pieces designed for display.

Because they are made from customers’ own fabrics and materials, these items cannot be CE-certified or tested to toy-safety standards. They are therefore not suitable for children under 14 years of age and should be kept out of reach of young children and pets.

However, the stuffing used complies with safety standards:

Filling conforms to Ignition Resistance I.S.419 1988 and Fire Safety Regulations UK 1988. I.S.419:1988 indicates compliance with the Irish equivalent standard for ignition resistance.

Keepsake boxes from The Ivory Crow may contain small parts. While reasonable, light use is acceptable, these are not suitable for young children. 

4. Care Instructions:

Each keepsake and portrait is made with care and attention to detail.

  • Memory Bears, Soft Toys, Cushions, and Other Soft Shapes:
    These items are not suitable for washing, as they may lose their form. If cleaning is needed, gently surface-wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Washing or tumble drying may cause irreversible damage for which RememBearMe cannot be held responsible.

  • Keepsake & Collectors Boxes:
    These may include multiple mediums and are painted with acrylics and sealed with appropriate varnishes. Clean with a soft, dry cloth. Do not immerse in water.

  • Pet Portraits:
    Whether digital or physical, please handle and display them with care. Keep away from direct sunlight, moisture, and extreme temperatures.

If your keepsake is accidentally damaged and you would like to request repair work, please contact The Ivory Crow  as soon as possible. If repair is possible, a fee (depending on extent of damage) may apply. 

5. Returns & Refunds:

Work on a project will only begin once a final agreement on design has been reached. You, the customer, will receive progress updates and photos of your product before shipping. Shipping will only commence when a final agreement on order completion has been reached and you are happy with it.

Because each creation is custom-made and personalised, returns and refunds cannot be offered once work has begun.

If you wish to cancel your order, you may do so within 7 days of placing it, provided your items have not yet been sent or work has not started.

Refunds can only be issued if:

  • You cancel before production begins; or

  • The product arrives faulty or damaged due to an error on our part.

In the rare case of a fault, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.

Return the item via a tracked postal service, and we will repair or replace it where possible.

If repair or replacement is not possible, a refund will be issued within 14 days of the item’s return.

Please note: returns and refunds are not available for digital pet portraits once the final artwork has been delivered via email or print & ship..

6. Shipping & Delivery:

Customers are responsible for posting clothing and materials to The Ivory Crow using a reliable tracked service. We understand these items are often irreplaceable, so please use a tracked and signed option for peace of mind.

Within Ireland, completed keepsakes are sent via An Post Tracked Delivery or delivered locally where possible.

International orders are shipped using the most reliable tracked courier service available at the time of dispatch.

Once shipped, the customer is provided tracking details.

7. Prices & Payment:

All prices are listed in Euro (€) and include applicable taxes.

Shipping and any additional charges (such as customisation requests) will be agreed upon before payment.

Accepted payment methods:

  • Revolut

  • PayPal

Structured Payment Options can be arranged by request.

Full payment must be received before any finished products are shipped or delivered.

Gift Certificates are available.

8. Copyright & Design:

All designs, photographs, and artwork created by The Ivory Crow remain the intellectual property of the artist.

Patterns, artwork, and photographs may not be copied, reproduced, or sold without prior written permission.

Customers are welcome to share images of their keepsakes or portraits on social media — please tag or credit The Ivory Crow and/or RememBearMe when doing so. 

9. Limitation of Liability:

While every effort is made to ensure the highest standards of craftsmanship, The Ivory Crow cannot accept responsibility for damage occurring after delivery or from normal wear and tear over time.

As each piece is made from sentimental materials, please handle and store them carefully.

10. Governing Law:

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with Irish law, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.
