The Flying Orc

I was delighted to have the opportunity to create this dice chest. The pictures below will show you the process, in case you would like to create one yourself, too. Just a bit of background:

Flying Orc began as a playful podcast among friends, evolved into gaming journalism, and ultimately pivoted during the pandemic toward a passion for Dungeons & Dragons—fostering community, storytelling, and creative exploration along the way. Today, Flying Orc serves as a community-driven creative hub, offering podcasts, guides, tutorials, media commentary, and the unfolding “The Wandering Isles” D&D campaign. Its philosophy centres on sharing the joy of gaming and storytelling, encouraging collaboration, immersive world-building, and a shared love of imaginative play.

We’re absolutely thrilled with our custom dice chest from The Ivory Crow. The craftsmanship is beautiful. The velveteen covering is soft to the touch, and the hand-painted logo with our name makes it feel truly personal. It’s become the home for our most important dice, the ones we use in every home and live game, and it feels special every time we sit down to play.
