The Apothecary Box brings timeless Remedies and heartfelt Beauty to your Space.

Please note: I made this box for myself, only taking photos as I went along to show the progress to my family. It was them who encouraged me to display those here. I am showing you the process, in case you would like to create one yourself, too. Should you prefer not to do that, I am happy to make one for you, of course.

The Box in its original state. It does not state what type of of wood it is, but it must be treated with something as it completely repelled the French Polish Oil I intended to use to stain it. I had to scrub the box with hot, soapy water a few times. Sadly this loosened all the edges and cones, meaning I had to completely re-glue and tack the entire box.

I ended up mixing Acrylic paints to achieve the desired colour and finished it with several layers of furniture wax.
